Gold Star Award for Belinda
Congratulations to our Gold Star Award Winner Belinda
Belinda recently completed a block of twice weekly Exercise Physiology sessions in clinic. Throughout the block, she made a fantastic effort to continuously show up, challenge herself and make the most of each session. Over the course of the block, Belinda worked on improving her functional strength, coordination, balance, reactive stepping, and dual-tasking skills. These improvements have translated into meaningful everyday benefits, making activities such as navigating uneven surfaces and recovering balance when unexpected challenges arise feel safer, and more manageable.
On top of all this, Belinda completed the MS 50K Challenge, an outstanding achievement that reflects her determination, resilience, and commitment to staying active while living with Multiple Sclerosis. One of Belinda’s greatest strengths is her willingness to challenge herself and step outside her comfort zone. This positive attitude has played a huge role in the progress she has achieved and has been wonderful to witness. It has been fantastic to see her confidence with exercise continue to grow, and it is exciting that she has chosen to continue with regular EP sessions following her initial block.

Belinda, you should be extremely proud of everything you have accomplished. Your hard work and positive mindset make you an absolute pleasure to work with.
