What makes the LEXO® so effective is its end-effector mechanical design. Instead of restricting movement at the joints like in many other styles of robotic gait trainer, the lower limbs have the freedom to drive movement from the foot. This allows for increased activity around the ankle, knee and hip joints and a more natural walking pattern. The in-built sensors and force plates provide real-time feedback and adjustments to the dynamic body weight support system which enable precision prescription and adaptation during the gait cycle.
