Gold Star Award for Melanie

Congratulations to our Gold Star Award Winner Melanie

Melanie started a triple-intensive block at Hurstville Clinic in early February, which consisted of 3 x OT sessions, 3 x PT sessions and 3 x EP sessions per week. This has meant 3 hours of therapy for Melanie on 3 days/week, which has been a lot! But she has managed it all with a smile on her face, and has loved making progress.

Melanie has also had vocational rehabilitation conducted by her OT Natalie, in order to work towards a graded return to work.

After finishing her 8-week block of therapy at Hurstville and making so much progress, she is now booked in to do another triple-intensive block at Artarmon to commence shortly, and continue the momentum she has built!

Melanie has achieved so much in such a short time, in all areas, but the gains are especially noticeable in her arm. From having no movement at all in her right arm, she developed strength and movement in her shoulder so that she can do away with the sling. Amazing!!
