Congratulations to our Gold Star Award Winner Svetlana
Huge congratulations to Svetlana who has been working hard consistently in therapy and recently achieved some of her walking goals.
Svetlana had a stroke in 2020 and has been doing physiotherapy and occupational therapy with ARC since January 2021. This year she has been working hard to improve her walking.
She has completed two intensive blocks of therapy including walking on the LEXO. She has made good progress with her walking. She recently had three huge successes including:
- Transitioning to walking with a walking stick at home
- Walking up and down a full flight of stairs with assistance
- Walking into the clinic and leaving her wheelchair in the car
Well done, Svetlana. We can’t wait to see your walking getting better and better.
