Our clients inspire us every day with their courage, commitment, and goals that go beyond recovery.
Today, we’re thrilled to share Lindy’s story – a fantastic example of what determination, expert support, and a meaningful goal can achieve.
When Lindy joined our EP services at the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Hub, she came with a very specific goal: to return to skiing and rebuild her confidence so that she could enjoy a family ski trip.
With only a few months to prepare, Lindy worked tirelessly, not only in her structured sessions, but also through her tailored home program.
Our team kicked things off with focused single-leg strength training tailored to skiing, then gradually progressed to agility drills, and dual-task activities that simulated real-life challenges on the slopes.
As Jason from our EP team shares in the video, “It was a really enjoyable goal for us to work with… and I’m hoping Lindy had fun getting there as well.”
The result? Lindy hit her goal, and her dedication speaks for itself. This is what we love most at ARC; celebrating goals that bring joy, purpose, and independence back into our clients’ lives.
Well done Lindy! We can’t wait to see what you do next!
