Persistent pain is a common but often overlooked symptom of many neurological conditions.

Whether related to changes within the nervous system itself, reduced activity, muscle and joint changes, or the long-term impact of managing a neurological condition, pain can significantly affect daily life, independence, and wellbeing.

Join Ava Lambert (Accredited Exercise Physiologist) and Jayne Mulhaney (AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist) for this informative and empowering webinar designed for individuals living with neurological conditions, their families, and carers.

During this session, Ava and Jayne will explore why persistent pain is so common in neurological conditions and explain how the nervous system influences the way we experience pain. Participants will learn why pain can sometimes continue even when there is no ongoing injury or damage, and how factors such as sleep, stress, fatigue, mood, and activity levels can affect symptoms.

The webinar will also discuss the important role of movement and exercise in managing persistent pain. Attendees will gain practical strategies to build confidence in movement, increase participation in meaningful activities, and improve overall quality of life.
