Alison is ARC's lead vestibular physiotherapist. She has over 20 years experience in general musculoskeletal, orthopedics, sports, pre and post-natal, pilates and community physiotherapy. In recent years she has undergone post graduate training in Vestibular Physiotherapy and has worked in multiple practices specialising in this area. Alison has special interest in vestibular disorders, including symptoms of vertigo, imbalance, dizziness, migraine and headache and concussion. Over this time Alison has come to appreciate the loss of quality of life, confidence and safety that vestibular conditions can cause people of all ages and finds managing and treating these, at times complex, conditions challenging and very rewarding. Alison recognises the importance of continuing education in this constantly changing and evolving area of physiotherapy. Outside of work Alison enjoys kayaking, cycling, swimming, canyoning, hiking and camping and keeping up with her 4 children and busy family. Motto: Listen to your body, it's the only one you'll ever have. The key to keeping your body's balance is in knowing when you have lost it!
