Orthotics are external supports designed to help you walk better. Orthotists are the specialist clinicians who prescribe, fit and manage your orthotic journey. Orthotics are often considered when mobility is challenged because of weakness, muscle length changes, instability and pain. An external brace or orthotic can also enhance your efficiency of movement and help you to stay on your feet longer. They can be a short-term rehab tool or something that you may use longer term.

Technology has progressed rapidly in this space and the braces and splints available today are vastly different and significantly more effective than they have ever been. They can include pre-fabricated, custom fitted and electrical stimulation devices. The Orthomotion team are at the top of their field and can advise you of the most useful device to help you address your rehab needs.
