Mrs L. has been doing PD Warrior since 2014 and has since then attended regular group classes 1-2 weekly. Due to other commitments, she always found it very hard to exercise at home in addition to her group sessions. In the last year, she has noticed a significant decline in her ability to use her hands and had difficulties getting dressed or cutting up vegetables. In September 2018, it took her more than 2 minutes to put on a hoodie. She also struggled to prepare meals and was about to give up cooking.
Together with her Physiotherapist, she set up an exercise program to work specifically on her deficits and goals. She committed to doing the 10 week challenge, which means she did her exercises every day for 10 weeks (at least that was the plan).
And this is what the result looked like after 10 weeks:
She was able to put on her hoodie in 26 seconds, rather than 2 minutes
She is able to cook meals for herself and her family and actually enjoys it!
She improved her 6 minute walking test by 100 meters, which means she is walking much faster now and has less concerns about her balance.
She is now significantly more energetic and moving like a PD Warrior!
Well done, this is the reward for your hard work!
